PLOT
Agent film release date is scheduled to release in Jan, 2023. Agent is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language spy action and thriller movie directed by Surender Reddy inspired from a story written by Vakkantham Vamsi. Produced by AK Entertainment and Surender 2 Cinema. It features Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, and Sakshi Vaidya in leading roles. Agent was announced in September 2020.
Movie shoot took place in Hyderabad, Budapest, Visakhapatnam and Manali. Initially postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other production delays, the film is now scheduled for a theatrical release in January 2023 during the occasion of Sankranthi.
STORYLINE & REVIEW
Akhil Akkineni introduces as a spy in movie which is most notorious and ruthless patriot in movie. Agent movie is totally action backed movie and Akkineni will be playing the role of a spy, with his character inspired by Matt Damon's Jason Bourne character from the American film series of the same name Agent, while Mammootty will play the role of a military officer Colonel Mahadev, a military officer from the NSC who has task to catch the agent.
Mammootty ( Col Mahadev) tried many times to catch agent at different places Manali, Budapest and Hyderabad but as usual he fails and lastly he said to high command that agent is unpredictable and difficult to catch and we have no witness no forensic evidence his death note has already been written. There is also a romantic touch Sakshi Vaidya will be performing romantic song with agent and some loving scenes which will engage audiences in movie.
According to Director & Producer, Agent movie is totally action backed movie and VFX are good which will close to reality. Agent is most time taking project because they delay due to injuries' of Akhil. He transformed himself totally and performed very well in movie.
